Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your files and data when you use PDF Creator (pdf-creator.net). The short version: your files are processed in memory, deleted immediately, and never stored — and we collect as little as a working website allows.

Your files

• Files you upload are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and processed entirely in memory. They are never written to a database or persistent storage on our side.
• Document processing is performed by our conversion provider, ConvertAPI (convertapi.com), acting as a data processor. We use its in-memory mode, meaning your file is not written to the provider's storage either — the converted result is returned directly in the processing response.
• Once your download is ready, no copy of your original or converted file exists on our infrastructure. We cannot retrieve, restore, or look at your documents — by design.
• We never sell, share, or analyze the contents of your files.

Data we do process

• Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) records basic request data — IP address, time, requested URL, browser type — for security and error diagnostics. These logs are retained briefly and are not used to identify you.
• No accounts. The service has no registration, so we hold no names, emails, or passwords.

Analytics and advertising

We may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (which tools are popular, where visitors come from) and Google AdSense to show ads that keep the service free. Both set cookies; see our Cookie Policy for details and controls. Where required by law, these services are only activated after you give consent.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we don't store your files or maintain accounts, in most cases there is nothing for us to hand over or erase — but you can always contact us with any request or question.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the service handles data, we will update this page and its "last updated" date before the change takes effect.
