Editorial and Testing Policy

PDF Creator publishes practical document tools and guidance. This page explains how we decide what to claim, how tools are checked, and how corrections are handled.
Who is responsible
Guides and tool explanations use the PDF Creator Editorial Team organizational byline. It identifies the team role responsible for implementation review and documentation without inventing personal credentials or implying specialist certification.
How tools are reviewed
Each tool page publishes a representative input scenario, expected output and a short verification checklist. The checks cover the observable result that matters for that operation: whether the download opens, page or file count, sequence, readable content and format-specific behavior.
The displayed date is an implementation-review date, not a compatibility guarantee for every browser and source file. Browser-based conversion has real limits. Office layouts can differ from desktop applications, OCR can misread unclear scans, and a visually flattened watermark cannot be separated safely from page artwork. We disclose these limitations instead of promising perfect results.
How guides are written
Guides are based on the behavior of the published tools and common document workflows. They are written to help someone choose a format, prepare a source file, inspect output and understand tradeoffs. We do not add arbitrary word counts, fabricated ratings or claims of professional certification.
Privacy verification
The conversion engines run in the browser. During development we inspect network behavior and keep document processing separate from analytics and advertising integrations. See the Privacy Policy for the current data-handling description.
Corrections and update dates
If a tool or guide is inaccurate, contact contact@pdf-creator.net with the page, browser and a description of the issue. Do not send private source documents; create a minimal non-sensitive example instead. We update a displayed review date only when the implementation or explanation has actually been reviewed, not merely to make content appear new.
